The MDTrade AutoCAD application

a description

<<< MDTrade3.9 (20120504) - Chartware (c) >>>

The basic idea of MDTrade is, to analyse financial charts with the highest possible accuracy, namely the vector precision of AutoCAD.

Therefore trendlines and their intersections drawn in a MDTrade-chart are geometrically correct and can be directly measured with normal AutoCAD commands.

The finacial charts that can be drawn by MDTrade (based on the yahoo financial services) use the actual quotes for the Y-values and a day based system in the X-direction. The chart display differs from convential chart progs, because of the correct calendaric positioning of the individual day bars/candles and also the weekly, monthly and yearly bars/candles. That means concret that a monday-daily-candle does not directly follow the friday-daily-candle of last week, as saturday and sunday are represented in the chart as well (as gaps), although there had been no trading taken place.

The philosophy of that is: 'the right chart geometery depends on the principle that each quote belongs to a certain point in time!'
